Intel core 2 quad 2.4 ghz
2gbs ddr2 ram at 800mhz
windows xp home
dont remeber motherboard at the moment
nvidia geforce 9600
i have a dvd drive that reads dvd and cds and it can write all the dvd formats
150gb sata hdd

Older systems values are based mostly on what someone wants to use them for and is willing to pay.
Not to say your system is that old,- just a step or two behind rapidly changing technology.

Look up the parts and get the current price - subtract 10 to 30% for the used factor.
