WTB: Athlon Skt939 X2 Processor

Looking for either a Athlon 4200X2, a 4600X2 processor or higher Dual Core AMD that will still fit in my Socket 939 board (ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe) Im looking to get some more use out of my board for newer games, etc.. but im not ready for a complete makeover yet..

Shoot me a PM or just post if you have anything for sale or trade (maybe i have something you need)

Thanks

-ShuckyD

Man I know people don't like Tiger around here, But they got the 3800x2 skt. 939 cpu for $80. NO REBATES
My friend got one and it's pretty decent. He had a 3500+ before. He said it compiles alot quicker. And he also mentioned games being a little smoother.
Just a thought..

EDIT: fixed link

yea i dont think that the 3800+ warrants an upgrade from a 3500+ (although its an X2, i saw it on there) Im running my 3500+ (single core) at 2.475 as apposed to its stock 2.2ghz.

My family has a Dell e521 that has a 3800x2 in it and im really hoping that someone has a 4200, 4600 or higher in the 939 socket (hopefully they didnt just do the 4600x2 for AM2, cause its been a tough find on the net)

You could always do an Opteron. They have dual core's, and not bad priced. You would have to check the limit on your L2 though.

Guessing you dont use that opty 165? IF it was OC'ed it would do really well. It was very up to par with my 4400 im on now.
