Wanted: broken lcd, laptop hard drive...

Hello again,

I am once again looking for an LCD Monitor approx. 15" (14" is possibly even better). Screen must be in OK condition and must display picture (though the backlight can be broken). Basically I am using it to make a projector. Let me know the condition, size, and price.

Also, I am looking for a 40gb laptop hard drive. Let me know your price.

And, in the rare chance that anyone is selling an xbox 360 or a nintendo wii for cheap, let me know, but I am limited on funds at the moment, so no guarantees on buying them.

Also, on another rare chance that someone has a cheap laptop (must be working, fairly light, and suitable for windows xp and internet browsing) for cheap, let me know.

Besides cash, I also have 2x 256 notebook dimms (sdr133, cl2.5 Rosewill) that were working when pulled. I also have countless older computer parts that I am willing to part with.

I have a 4 year old HP ZE4125 that bit the dust...something on the mobo or with the power connecter.

To the best of my knowledge, the lcd is in mint shape. I also have it's original 40 gig hard drive, but it still has data on it from when the lappy blew out.

I wouldn't know what to charge for this; I was planning on throwing it away! LOL.

You tell me what you're willing to pay plus S&H and I'll see if we can strike a bargain.

Hey, I am definitely interested in the 40gb hard drive and will check the going prices on ebay and elsewhere and pm you. As for the rest of it, I am looking for a standalone monitor for the projector project, and a laptop thats ready to install windows and run (my mom is getting into computers and wants to use email and the internet on something portable).

Unfortunately, it's not very protable. I got a battery off eBay for like $20 and I got what I paid for. They do sell them for more, but because it's so old, I'm not sure you could find an acutal viable battery for it. They don't have long life cycles as it is.

I'm heading upstairs now to grab it . . .

EDIT - It's only a 20GB HDD, everything else is as I posted. 15" LCD, working, just backlight is probably no good.

I would rather make a few dollars off it than throw it away. I'm not looking to make crapload of money off this; I would be happy is someone could use it or fix it! I got my money's worth out of it's lifetime.
