Prc is on a distinguished road
Price check on my Desktop PC

I'm looking to see how much i can get for my PC, school needs to be paid

Here are some specs on it since its custom built:

Case with a window on a side, 3 fans inside.

2 Drives:
1st is DVDRW not sure which brand.
2nd one is HP DVDrw Light Scribe.

Intel P4 3.20GHz w/ hyperT
1GB 2700 Ram
1 250GB SATA Hard Drive - Contains my Win XP Pro
1 320GB SATA Hard Drive - Contains Linux and mostly storeage space
1 120GB IDE Hard Drive - Not Connected but its in the computer if i ever need more space.

NVidia GeForce FX5700 256MB Video Card

With the 17 inc LCD Screen

i would have to say.. being Intel and P4@ 3.2ghz + the HD capacity and being SATA add's to the price.. also a LCD 17" screen ..

at least 400$ , that's what i would shoot for...

It's a little tough building a BRAND NEW computer for $400...But it can be done for around 600 with warranty on the parts etc...

dont take it personal but u have to take into account depreciation. hell my both my burners only cost me 40 bux brand new and if they're used ppl would only pay half that, not to mention Pentium 4s are out dated, and are inferior to athlon64s and core2s, the sata drives are nice, but dont cost more than a hundred bux brand new, and last but most certainly not least, the vid card is a 5700 which by todays standards is a terrible video card, which will struggle with most new games.

Like i said its nothin personal, but most of the problem is depreciation, in the IT industry, technology changes fast and when somethin isnt cutting edge anylonger its value drops significantly
