Price Recommendation...

Hey, all...I have an old laptop that I am thinking of selling, but I want to know what everyone thinks it may be worth to see if it'll be lucrative for me or not...It's in almost perfect condition aside from a little wear here and there, nothing major. Everything on it works.

Compaq Presario 1610 Notebook
Intel Pentium MMX 150MHz
256MB PC66 RAM (PC66 is max supported by the board, so I didn't bother going higher)
6GB Hard Drive
Belkin 54g Wireless PCMCIA network card
PCMCIA 10/100 Network Card with a 56k v.90 modem on it as well
USB Bluetooth Adapter
Battery that holds a charge w/ charger
16x CDROM Drive
Floppy Disk Drive
Onboard 56k modem
2 USB 1.1 ports
Windows 2000 Installed

If you can think of any details that I'm missing, then please let me know. Please let me know what you think I may be able to sell this laptop for. Thanks.

Well, not very much, you can get a brand new laptop for $400 or a really good new laptop for about $550.

I am not very good at pricing used items, but I would say you could get $50 for it.

What I would do is sell the PC seperate from the Windows 2000. You might be able to get more from it that way.

Tell me what you would sell it at, I might want to buy it. Its not something I could use much, but it wouldn't be bad to use just for typing on the go. And how decent is the battery? After a full charge how long would it last?

well, the battery isn't very good...there's an upgraded version that lasts about 1.5-2 hours, but this one only lasts about 30-45 minutes...

I'd have to say more than $50, though...I looked up this laptop on eBay and startin bid on most were at 50-60 with bids...all of these had 64MB max and a 1-3 GB hard drive...and none of them had the extra cards that I have...

You'd probably get more money for selling the HD, Battery, Ram, Wifi card, and shell separately. But in the end that lappy isn't actually worth the $50-60 you saw. You can try ebay if you think you can get that, but I'm doubting it.

To give you an idea I bought a similar lappy 2 years ago but it was a 266mhz with a nice leather carrying case and new battery for $230. I think you should be able to get $100 for yours. Considering you have a wireless card, 56k modem and Win2k. Sure it is old but someone will think "hey I can buy a lappy for $100, what a deal".
