WTB: Ultra Portable Laptop

Well Im looking to buy an ultra portable laptop for under $300. I dont need a uber fast one because this will be my portable "Learn LINUX/UNIX" computer. I travel alot & have quite a bit of downtime at places like the airport and such and am trying to broaden my computer knowledge.

So if anyone has any ideas then please let me know...or if you have a small/light laptop for sale then please let me know!

I bought myself a compaq m300 a few months back as a portable. It is just over 3lbs and I love it. Just budget yourself in a good battery, the stock battery will last max of 2 hours. Or you can get an aftermarket huge one that will go about 4 hours.

I got mine for 160 on ebay with a docking station. You have to have a docking station to have a cdrom drive. And the docking station doubles the size of the laptop.
