Motion LE1600 Centrino - Used for 6 mths

I purchased this pc tablet so I could see how they work (I earn my living by recommending products so need to see for myself exactly what they can and cannot do, etc).

I have the original receipt that can be sent upon request but have removed my address, phone # etc. for privacy reasons but will give this information to the purchaser.

I originally paid $3,604.95 for this machine. I ordered it with the max amount of memory (1.5gb) and the Max Processing Power (1.5ghz). 60gb hard drive and the special screen that can be viewed in sunlight. I did not order an external cd-rom for this machine because I have a network if I needed to transfer files and I would set up a 'virtual' cd-rom when needed.

My professional opinion :
The machine is designed for users who need to use a computer away from their home or office. It is not convenient enough to use if you work in one place and do not 'need' mobile computing.

I can honestly say it is as close to new as you can get w/o being new (I only removed the protective plastic from the monitor one time).

HAH! I knew it. I am one of those horribly insufferable persons who always check things three and four times before doing anything. I was amazed when you shut the door in my face - I couldnt figure out what I had done wrong.

Would you like for me to sign up as a different user and start over from scratch? Sometimes that is easiest.

Also, just an fyi - I may have signed up a long time ago using the username 'tecminn'. This name is not available so most likely it was me. Could that be causing the problem?

If you would like to delete all traces of me from your system I will gladly start from scratch (saved my big 'sell' message) if it would make things easier for you.

I needed to make a couple of changes so that I am not misleading people. I emailed motion computing and the warrantly is not transferable. Personally I not sure that is right or not but then that is why one should read the small print.

Also too I sold the keyboard. Let me look at the list and make sure there isnt anything I have missed.

I found a really good deal on thin external cd-rom drives that I will post whereever is appropriate. They are only 24x but for a mobile unit 45$ is way better than 80+ and up (IMHO).
