WTB MB combo

Looking to upgrade to a p4 system. Not top to the line stuff some where in the 1.6 to 2ghz. Looking for a board capable of taking 1GB of ram. Thanks.

Do you prefer Intel or AMD? What type of applications are you running? What do you have now? Gaming?

I also am looking for a combo for a client and have found this:

I dont have any info on the Axper MoBo, though.

well I have a PII 400mhz now and I'm just looking to move up some. To a P4 with a decent board and a good bit of ram. Thanks

No gaming and just basic apps.

you should really consider going to AMD, because in most cases it is alot more bang for your buck so to say. Do you know that your RAM most likely wont work with the new board you get as well?

I'll stick to Intel, and I'm aware that the ram will not work. Thank you.

Question, why must you have a P4, they are quite inferior these days to the AMD offerings in all aspects while still costing more. This is especially true in the range of processors your looking at.
