Er, actually, you can.

You just can't get them from Dell to my knowledge...

But the Inspiron 9100 is FULLY upgradeable, provided you use a part that was made for it in the first place.

In this case, the 9700 Mobility is in the used system I just bought, and I was simply posting here to see if anyone had a 9800 Mobility that they would part with. I'm not sure why anyone would, it's a great laptop card, but I tried anyway.


Granted, it's a long shot, and highly unlikely. It is, however, POSSIBLE.

If I could purchase one through retail channels, I would.
