I originally had one computer that used the 1600, then I upgraded it to a 3200 just for speed… that’s how I know that the 1600 works. Then I built another computer, I was happy with the performance of the 3200 so I decided to buy another one. Later on I upgraded both of the computers to the AMD 64 bit systems. So, now I have 3 CPUs sitting on the top shelf of my computer stand staring me in the face every day and all I can think of is all that money I spent on them.
Did I overclock the CPUs? Well, I did not… for 3 reasons. One, I simply don’t know how. Two, I can’t afford to burn out a CPU (I’m not exactly rich…). And three, I was happy with the performance to begin with, why would I overclock?
I hope this answerers your questions. If not, don’t be afraid to ask more….
