WTB: complete PC for under $100

I am looking for a complete system for under 100 bucks, shipped of course. No monitor, or speakers needed, just the case with the goodies, kyb and mouse will do

PII 233 is about best u could probably hope for ...LOL the only way you could do anything with $100 is to build it yourself..

You can get a very good PowerSpec PC from Micro Center for 200 bucks, so I know there are some good PCs still out there for $100.

Since you are in OH anyway you might want to check out the following reseller, they have a willcall where you can pick it up with no freight charges. Ive bought from them with no trouble.

Hey!!! How about this. Got a system and printer without paying a dime. Found in trash a dell desktop w/ 15" monitor and printer. Tossed the printer since it had no cartridges. Gave the kids the monitor. It's a optiplex g1 slot 1 400mhz with a 4gig hdd. Was partitioned into 2 drives. Formatted the drive and installed xp. Works fine. Took out 4gig and have a 20 gig in it now. Then, when walking home from the store found a hp p1000 photosmart. Appearance wasn't great and no color cartridge but it works. Still had ink in black cartridge and the card drives works. Prints out great. Its amazing what one just happens to find.

I personally have pulled 3 computers out of dumpsters and fixed them, they are never anything great but theres usually not to much wrong with them. Just got to keep your eyes open. Go to the landfill.

You guys are experts at digging up old PCs, I haven't fetched a single one yet
