Hi, I want to trade a BBA Radeon 9700 pro and $10 and WC3+007 for a 9800 or 6600. My card can be RMA'ed for a new 9800pro, but I don't feel like going through with all of that, so I am looking for a 9800 or 6600. Preferably, it is relatively new or just RMA'ed.
I hope you now that a vanilla 9800 performs the same as a 9700PRO, so you would see no difference, same with a vanilla 6600, which performs like a 9800NP.
Why don't you step up to a 6600 GT? They out perform older videocards in most things. Also, the MSI 6600 GT can be overclocked like mad. I heard 1 person can run Doom 3 in Ultra mode with it!

any 6600GT can run doom3 @ ultra while almost no 9800pro can do the same unless insanely OCed past 9800XT speeds
