Ahhhh... I donno really. I have bought several for 30 bucks and under.. I stock in parts for family upgrade etc. but the Athlon days are about over.

I have a 1.4 T-bird in this system running an Iwill KK266. I bought this CPU new a little over 2 years ago...brand new for $50 bucks..it is an AXIA? whatever, it was the one to get back in the days of clocking this particular processor. (I don't clock either).

I now have an upgrade waiting for my get up and go..to...just get up!!...an MSI KT4 Ultra SR and an X2500+ 'Barton to upgrade with. The thing is, I have had this stuff for almost a year, and it will be totally obsolete when I get around to it.

Sorry DR you were just barely beat out this morning by an interested party that sent me a private message. They snagged the Dragon motherboard. But the cpu and hsf are still available if you're interested. Buy them together and I'll knock $5 off the total.

It probably doesn't matter now, but to answer your question, yes that cpu is compatible with that motherboard. They both have been paired up their entire lives, till now.
