I have used this device with my Onkyo DVD player and My Gamecube to watch on a Viewsonic VG150 (1024x768) LCD. Unit works fine.

It has some scratches on top (does not effect it, just cosmetic) and I have Installed a Heatsink on the Scaling/Deinterlacing chip as it does have a tendancy to get hot after a while.

I do not havy any packaging or documentation. There are four dip switches on the side. I am not 100% on what they all do (one changes the brightess slightly, one changes the aspect ratio slightly the others i dunno)

I am including the following with the XGA box:
--VGA cable
--S-video cable
--A/V cable
--universal DC adapter (came with a UK type adapter as I belive thats where they are made)
--RCA video switchbox (has A/V (composite) and s-video conections) 4 in 1 out

what model number and brand is it?

I am not sure what company exactly amkes it (I no longer have the original packaging) Its model name is simply "XGA Box". I assume it is made and sold outside of the us. It does suport the NTSC format so all US video (DVD, Cable, Consoles etc..) will scale properly.
