Food FS- Amateur Radio Transceiver

Kenwood TM-731A

I have a dual band (2m/440) ham transceiver that I no longer have a need for. It is in excellent condition, but does show signs of use. It has never been mobile and was recently checked out by a local technician. It is dead on frequency and a Bird watt meter showed 50/35W at 13.8v. It has the tone board installed for CTCSS. I have a Kenwood duplexer that will be included (allows for use of a single dual band antenna). The radio is modded for MARS/CAP use as well as cross-band repeat! I also have an Astron power supply which is available if needed. I would like to see $200 for the radio or $225 for the radio and the power supply. Shipping will be whatever it costs me, and nothing more.

I will consider any trades for computer or other ham gear. As always, the price is negotiable. If you are new to the hobby (licensed within the last three months), let me know and we'll work out a great price. I will only sell this equipment to someone who is licensed to operate on the amateur radio bands or someone who is planning on getting licensed. Contact me by PM or at kc2ilq@gmail.com.

I'm sorry, It's a Kenwood TM-731A. I typed the page up for AT forums and forgot that the make and model were in the second subject line (which Timo doesn't have). 73 de...

Having no room for antennas etc., I can not be interested in the radio, but having used Kenwood A/R equipment many times...especially the ARS radios etc., I can vouch for the quality of the equipment.

I still own HF and VHF Amateur Radio transceivers, boxed away..probably never to be used by me again.

Kenwood makes some great equipment in all areas of electronics...especially the amateur radio.

Thanks bovon!

This really is a nice piece of equipment, and priced below eBay too. I just hope it finds a nice home and gets some good use.
