FT: My laptop + $$$ for a Centrino laptop
Well, after finally getting use out of my laptop, I've determined that I just need one that has longer battery life. Here's the rundown of the specs on mine:
WHAT YOU WOULD RECEIVE
HP ze4420us
AMD Athlon XP-M 2200+ 1.8GHz
256MB PC2100
40GB HDD
DVD - CD-RW Combo drive
Integrated Radeon Graphics (Radeon 7000VE is about same performance)
Surprisingly good Altec Lansing speakers built into the laptop (best I've ever heard on a laptop)
15" Screen 1024x768 Max/Native resolution (very bright at highest setting)
2 Batteries (2 hrs avg each)
Power brick / cord
Carrying case w/ shoulder strap
Windows XP Home w/ COA on bottom
Has printer, VGA, S-Video, Ethernet, Modem, 2 USB, headphone, mic 2 PCMCIA slots
Optional things I can include:
128MB PC2100 RAM (to bring total RAM up to 384MB)
512MB PC2100 RAM (to bring ram total up to 640 or 768, only if new laptop uses PC2700)
USB Floppy drive (assumes the laptop I'd receive has a built in floppy)
Belkin 802.11b PCMCIA wireless card
Other things of note:
This laptop has seen light use, the LCD is in perfect condition and on a whole, it is clean and well kept. Aside from its use, its been stored in its carrying case, not on a desk. Pictures are available to those that are SERIOUSLY interested.
WHAT I'D LIKE TO RECEIVE
I'm looking for battery life, cool running, and screen brightness / resolution. As I stated before, I'm looking for a centrino laptop and I'll accept any brand except COMPAQ. In terms of condition I'm looking for either NEW SEALED, almost new barely used, or used but immaculately maintained.
Rough idea of specs:
Centrino w/ 1.XGHz Pentium M
14" or greater screen
256 - 512 MB RAM (1 DIMM, 2 Slots)
20GB or greater HDD
DVD CD-RW Combo drive
Battery with MINIMUM 4hr time (not avg time please)
A carrying case would be nice but not necessary

When you make an offer, please take the time to list out all the info on its specs, use, condition and relative asking price. I know that my laptop is valued less than most centrino notebooks so I will include Paypal (preferred) or a Money Order to make up the difference.
