I ordered what was supposed to be Logitech Z560 speakers off ebay. What I got was Klipsch Promedia 5.1 THX set up instead. It comes with all 5 matching speakers and the sub. The sub in one corner has been pushed in on the rear top corner so it cannot be seen from the front under the desk.
Now the kicker. I cannot get sound from the sats unless you turn it all the way up, but then it is a low mear crackling and distorted badly. I get headach pain from the sub and its pounding but nothing from the sats but what I said. I checked the sats on my other system and they sound kick butt. Also where the connector goes in the cable was bent and the unit will shut off if you bend it just right. I pealed back the wiring but the wires are too small for me to see and I dont have any other connection to replace it with, so, so far I just keep it bent. Maybe you have better eyes or have the means to fix it.
I am thinking that maybe that is the cause of the whole problem but I cannot be sure. So right now I am selling it as a matched set of THX Klipch surround speakers for your home theater and since the sub does work you can plug it into the back of your reciever as a stand alone sub. This way it is still a full functional Klipsch THX set up. This is what I have done with it so far. I have cut my old speakers off my Altec Lansing's and hooked up the Klipsch and split my sound in the rear of my board and ran it to the sub and let me tell you they kick some serious booty!
So any way I am looking for $170 and actual shipping for them OR I will trade them for a new set of Logitech Z560 4.1's. To be honest getting me them may save you a few bucks but if you rather deal with cash Im up for it.
Besides that where else you going to get 5 matching Klipsch THX speakers and sub (170 watts RMS btw) for under $200 for your reciever....HUM....no where but from me What you will be getting is: Sub, 5 Sats, power cord, and remote controll.
Because of weight I may just sell the 5 speakers by themselves (you may already have a sub) for $150 Shipped Priority insured. OH and I forgot to mention the Sats are in like new condition
