Maxtor 20GB D740-67 (higher end model) $30

Maxtor 5T020H2 20GB $20

Both drives 7200 rpm & tested with Maxtors utility and passed!

Is that AMD 1700+ XP a Model 8 (Thoroughbred) or a Model 6(Palomino) ?..

I have been unable to locate which CPU this is, or the core technology..which is important to determine what board will run it or if a BIOS upgrade will be needed.
