FT: Barely Used ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro

hey people!
i just recently bought a new ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro and im having stability issues when playing certain games. Called ATI and they said that it has to do with me having a nvidia chipset on my motherboard. I really like my motherboard because of the great overclocking capability, so i want to trade my All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro for an equal nvidia card. I am not too fimilar with nvidias, but I need one now. Thanks,
-Max-

That may be true, but it's HIGHLY unlikely. The majority of AMD Athlon XP users (especially those who have high end PCs) are probably using the Nforce 2 chipset.

That is a good point. I would RMA the card and get a replacement before selling it to some goofy nut on TIMO.

no, its not the card. i have had this problem ever since ive had an ATI card. before i had a 9200 Pro. same old problems! its a known fact that COD never runs good with ATI cards anyway!

I've played Call of Duty on my AIW Radeon 8500 128MB card for over 8 hours. Not a single crash and the game looks great. I'm running an Nforce 2 based Asus A7N8X-Deluxe board rev 1.4.

If you were using an Nvidia card before (on the same system), you may have to run driver cleaner:
