Talk Laptop Chip

Hey There!

I'm looking for a Laptop Processor Chip... I have a P3 400... and Would like to upgrade my laptop...

any suggestions to where I could get a faster chip? and how do I find out what the motherboard is as well?

Try using CPUID to find you mobo specs.

More than likely it's a low-voltage chip, so an ordinary desktop CPU probably won't work. When you run CPUID, pay close attention to the core voltage. That will help in figuring out what chip you need to get.

Alot of laptops also have the chip perminatly attatched to the mobo. So open up your case before you buy.
