PC on Vid cards

Won't be looking to buy one for a few weeks, but just want to get an idea on price so I don't over pay. Looking for a 128 card, either a geforce or radeon. Thanks guys

Just trying to get the best bang for my buck so to speak, so thinking that a 128 card would be perfect. The 256's seem to run $100+ and even reaching $200+. And thanks Thronka.

First off what are you using it for. Just a desktop card for 2d. Or are you going to be playing games?

EQ2 is supposed to have some pretty heavy graphics isn't it?(maybe i'm thinking of another MM game)
You might have to go above your range to get something that will satisfy you. A 9600pro should suit you nicely. New they should be $120 maybe a little less. If you're willing to take a little risk you can get refurbished from www.newegg.com for less than $100. Saphire or Powercolor brands.

Yeah, huge graphic heavy, but right now, I'm runnin plain EQ with 256 ram and a 64 vid card, was thinking of putting in about 700ish of ram and a 128 vid card in the system I'm building now.

Wow, rereading that, horrid grammar...but it is 3am, so I can't be held too accountable.

Oh and thanks for the tip Bumble, didn't want to go above 128 for the reason that I see the 256's at the $200 mark.
