Gaming ECS I-Buddie XP Desknote

What I currently have for sale consists of an ECS I-Buddie XP Desknote with other software and accessories. The desknote is about 5 months and is in excellent condition. I am selling the desknote with various software and accessories listed below for $700 USD. UPS Ground Shipping and handling costs within the continental United States and including insurance comes to $18 USD. I will be accepting Paypal and cashiers check/money order for a payment. If interested, please e-mail me at removed.

The follow specifications for the Desknote are:
• Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2000+
• System Memory: 256MB DDR266 Infineon
• Hard Drive: 40GB Fujitsu MHS2040AT
• DVD/CDRW Drive
• 14'' XGA TFT LCD Display
• 2 Built-in Stereo Speakers
• Onboard 64MB Shared Video

Other main interfaces of the Desknote System:
• 1 – IEEE 1394 port
• 4 – USB 2.0 ports
• 1 – 10/100 Base-T LAN jack
• 1 – 56K V.90 Modem jack
• 1 – S-Video Out port
• 1 – External VGA port
• 1 – Parallel port
• 1 – IR port
• 1 – MIC-In jack
• 1 – Headphone jack

Software:
• Windows XP Home Version 2002 OEM with Recovery CD and Valid Product Key (Note: The original product key was not sent with the computer so I had called Microsoft and was issued a replacement product key over the telephone. I personally called Microsoft again on 5/10/04 and was told that I could sell the computer with Windows XP Home as long as I clearly stated that the key was a replacement.)
• Roxio Easy CD Creator 5
• ThizLinux Version 7.0
• Desknote Supporting Utility (Includes some basic drivers and applications such as WinDVD Version 3.1 and PC-Cillin 2002)

Other Accessories:
• Desknote Quick Start Guide
• Extra CPU heatsink
• Extra Hard Drive carrier
• RJ-11 cable
• S-Video cable
• Power Adapter
• Sleek carry case

The Desknote will be shipped with a clean install of Windows XP Home, all updated drivers, and all critical Windows updates. Please note that the computer is called a “desknote” since it does not use an internal battery. This really wasn’t a problem for me since everywhere I went there was an available electrical outlet. You can purchase an external battery from various retailers online if needed.

As an added bonus for the Desknote is its extreme upgradeability. The processor, memory, and hard drive can be swapped out and replaced with ease. The Desknote accepts desktop memory and a line of desktop AMD processors so upgrading costs are not as bad as notebooks. The great stability, upgradeability, and speed will live on with this computer. Although the onboard video will not be a plus to all hardcore gamers out there, for most people this Desknote’s graphics capability is more than satisfactory.

***Additional note to all PC extremists:
The Desknote has the capability to be overclocked.
