on a palm pilot, can you check e-mail? send messages etc? how does it exactly work?

W/ this one, I think you can pretty much sync w/ the PC, but not send anything directly from it. This is more of a handy-dandy organizer.

Like Rick said you can sync and read mail from it, but you can also write messages and sync again to send.
