Are these drives new, used, abused? What model are they?

these drives are used but not to any great extent. i bought them thinking i'd fill em up with stuff but they've been sitting empty for a week or two now.

model #: ST380013AS

these are the 7200rpm, 8mb buffer drives.

if the cables are an issue, i have some sata cables i can throw in (dont have any spare power cables for them though.)
