Hey I have a white Sony DVD player for my PC. I would like to trade it for a black one...(as my computer case is black not white)

Why not buy some vinyl paint or Krylon Fusion and paint it black? Only take a few min to dry between coats and will look like factory face plate.

thats really cool... but i'm kinda gibbled right now. i have a cast on my right hand/arm so i've got to type with one hand... and it'd be hard for me to do all this work... plus i would really rather to just trade it for a Black one anyways... it'd be a lot easier for me... I have no idea how to take the thing apart to paint it!!!!

Sorry to hear that and I wish you a speedy recovery.

I was just opening up some other options for you in case you didn't know about them. The face plate easily comes out. It has 4 prongs on the sides and you just push them in and pull it out and the front of the tray just slides up. Whatever is easier for you though.
