WTB: Need some cheap stuff (hard drives, video cards, dvd drives)

Im building a machine right now, and am doing it on a very limited budget, and thats why I came to you guys...

So, heres what I am currently in need of...

Hard drive: Im actually after a 20GB IDE. Once some money comes in over the summer, im going to upgrade to a SATA drive, so right now I just need enough space to get me by (really just enough for WinXP, Battlefield 1942 w/ mods, and a little music - so 20GB should be fine for now).

Video Card: Im looking at getting a ATI 9800SE, or a nVidia FX5700, or anything thats somewhat comparable. If you have something, post it!

DVD Drive: For now I only need a DVD drive - ill be adding in my DVD-R/+R later on (I have a cd-r on my laptop if I need to use one).

Thats really all I need for now. If you have a mobo w/ the KT600 chip for cheeeep let me know. Otherwise to newegg I go!

Like I said, im on kind of a tight budget. So be nice when posting your asking prices

Here's what Newegg is selling there DVD's at...they have others, but Sony is nice, and only $29 shipped for a 16x...

Also, instead of getting the 9800 SE, I would get the 9600 XT for $153 shipped also from Newegg, heh...

As for the Hard Drive, I'd try to buy it from someone here or on e-bay or something, the prices on those for the most part are kind of high compared to the size hard drive you can get for like $30 more....for SATA I'd get a 120GB Seagate SATA Drive...best overall performance in a native SATA drive, unlike the WD Raptors which have faster RPMs and are very nice, however rather expensive, are SCSI drives turned into SATA....Newegg has the same drive I have in a RAID setup on my computer, 2x120's for $105 each--was only $89 when I bought it, heh....enjoy

Instead of wasting your money on a 20GB and then putting forth more money for a larger SATA drive, I would save up and just get only the SATA drive....either way, however, good luck with the build...

I took your advice and ordered the XT.
Same with the DVD

I had someone GIVE me a 40GB, so that will do for now...

Everything else I either have, or am ordering...

Thanks for looking though!
