Fine - what happened.

I've been getting a few dozen PMs from people on what happened. For clarification:

I posted a thread at another site thinking it was this site (as I had both open at the same time).
I checked here a little while ago to find out that my thread (which was at the other site) was not here and because of the heavy stress and frustration I've been under/having (respectfully), I jumped the gun and assumed the thread had been deleted.

It was not deleted. There was never a thread to start with.
So, to all those involved in the cat chase, I apologize for the inconvenience and the trouble.

This is going to stay open as long as nobody jumps on C-C's back about it. It was an honest mistake.

I've done that a couple times back when i visited both sysopt and techimo frequently. I'm just glad that you came out and cleared the air. Remember, posting while stressed out can be a very dificult task to pull off right.

But deleting a thread does sound like somthing EvilRick would do, so I guess this could be called an understanding situation if that were the case
