NTB: Windows 2000 CD

Ok, I got the Windows 2000 Pro License/COA. I thought I was buying the CD and the License and when I got it yesterday, it was an obviously burned copy (or "backup" is what they called it) and would not work. I need the holographic CD. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with or knows where I can get it inexpensively, please let me know.

As long as you have the license/COA, you should be able to get the media direct from MS for around $5 or $10. Give them a call and explain you have a damaged CD.

www.9software.com often times sells cd's w/o the license and licenses w/o the cd. I'm not sure how they get away with this but they have been around a while and I've purchased from them with no problems.

So if I have a license/COA that I got with my old Compaq Pc but lost the Win 98 CD can I get one from Microsoft for that cheap?
If not could I sell it or would that be against the law? Just the license/COA no CD.
