Got a question. I see the Nomad Jukebox Zen Extra in 30gb and 40GB models... seems like i can only get a hold of the 40GB model so it dosnt really matter but all the pictures I see of the 30GB model are not lite up in blue like the 40GB model... so does this mean it dosnt have the same cool features as you talked about above?

I can only tell you this: my 30 GB model's screen looks green until backlit, then it appears blue. I also own a Jukebox 3 which gives you the option of choosing blue OR green when backlit...

Cool. I am holding a Nomad Jukebox Zen Extra 30GB model in my hot little hands. I installed the software and transfered about 400 songs (all legal I swear! ) and Im ready to rock! I was amazed on how fast it transfered the songs to the player! Im still used to the old school USB 1.0 Original Nomad Jukebox This thing is a God Send for my fairly large music collection. Thanks guys I ended up using the CC near me

Congrats...now you need some new 'phones!

Best Buy has the Koss KSC 50 for $18. Good sound, but they clip on your ears. Go to www.koss.com to buy the KSC 55 which sound like the model 50 but have a behind the head design ($20). I'm using the Koss Porta-PRO's which are comfortable for me and sound good ($50).

Ain't it amazing how much music will fit on 30 gigs?

Sadly, Sony makes odd new ear buds (the silver ones) I really liked the old ones (black), they seemed more ergonomic, were slightly smaller and had better quality (I even put them in water once by accident while they were on and no problems, I wish I had bought a few pairs, all the ones now are oversized, don't fit your ears and after a few hours your ears become sore.

Yeah I am finding the head phones that came with this version of the jukebox poor. I liked the old ones with the back design but at the same time I found it just extra bulk when trying to carry the player around with me so I dont know what I want... extreme portablility or best sound... I think I am looking for a good mix so I will have to keep looking for an ear bud head set but the ones it came with are huge even for my big head and ears and they hurt after about 20 min of listening. I used to have a big set of Koss head phones that had some kick *** bass but when I wore them I couldnt hear anything but music

Check the ones I listed. The 50s are $18, clip on your ears (no "band" between the ears), and sound pretty good. My son likes 'em. The Porta-Pros cost more but they fold up, stay on my head, and are very comfortable. Check all of those on the Koss site.
