Kids Service Center Authorization

Greetings all,

I work for a PC service center that is not currently authorized by any manufacturers for warranty service, parts, information, etc.

What would we need to do to become an authorized service center for most major manufacturers? Are some manufacturers easier than others to obtain? The main reason we are doing this is to boost our notebook service. Authorized service centers have much easier access to things like parts and service manuals!

Thanks in advance for any insights!

you would need to contact the vendors whom you are interested in becoming authorized for to find out what those requirements are...each company may have different requirements & expectations.

areas that would be covered would be criteria like the level of experience of the technicians (incl. possibly being certified by the vendor), length of time the company has been in business and its reputation, possibly certain overhead in inventory & parts, etc.
