Kids AsRock K7Vm2 & high density memory

Anyone know if there is a compatability issue running high density ddr memory with this MoBo? The ebay store I purchased this from stated that they do not recommend any high density memory but haven't been able to find any other reference to this anywhere else. I have a chance to buy a PNY 512 pc2700 @ a local store for $40 but don't want to buy it if I can't use it. Any comments, moans or gripes are greatly appreciated.

VIA KM266 can handle 256- and possible 512-megabit technology RAM alright. Today's 512-megabyte DIMMs should be working no problem. (They're made from 256-megabit tech RAM.)

Thank you. I picked the ram up today. I'll let everyone know if I come up with any issues with it. Thanks again.

It's a good idea to run the memory test software from www.memtest.org - even if the DIMMs are brandnew and from a trusted brand. Sh*t happens, and it happens a lot with RAM these days.
