i added a doron apple bred 1.4 ghz to my sy-k7vem pro. i ugraded to the apple bred bios. i get no boot. no post. no beep. nothing. but if i set the fsb jumper to the lower clock speed position it boots just fine but at a lower speed. soyo sais i may have bad ram or cpu. i substituted the ram and same problem. is there any thing else i can try?

it turned out to be bad memory modules. it seems only premium memory modules will work.

maybe with the fsb jumper at the high setting the ram was trying to run at 333mhz? maybe that was just too fast.

Do you still have the old modules? Maybe its just a matter of settings in the bios?
