Write Failure...

Right...

im using my RAID as individual hard drives, the current set up is...

(Motherboard)
Disk 1 = 120gig
Disk 2 = 80gig
Disk 3 = CDRW
Disk 4 = DVDRW

(Raid)
Disk 5 = 120gig
Disk 6 = 120gig
Disk 7 = 120gig
Disk 8 = 80gig

for some reason if i try to write to the 5rd disk at more than 1mb/s it gives me a "Windows Delayed Write Failure"
ive just removed Disk 8 (which i know worked ok) and put Disk 5 in it's place.

It is a brand new hard drive, do you think it is buggered? or it is something i have got to change in my RAID setup?
im just glad i didnt format the 4 drives and set up a RAID Array otherwise i would have lost everything if the drive is buggered.

I Hope someone can help out.

Thanks
Ratty
