getting into bios on compaq

Hey, Im tryin to get into BIOS on my compaq armada 7400 I have run my finger over all the keys from F1 to F12 But I have no idea how to get into its BIOS.. it has a power-on password and I upgraded its Win 95 to Win 98se......... So just need to know how to enter BIOS on it.. THANKS!

Have you tried "del"? Also it would help to know the motherboard manufacturer.

I have never used an Armada 7400, but in my experience Compaq always use the [F10] key at boot up to access the BIOS.

Most Compaq laptops have a flashing white square in the top right, you push the F10 key at that time. If there's no flashing square, then you probably need to load the ROMPAQ for it. You'll have to hit HP's site and put in your laptop and the model/processor for it. You should then go to a page where you can download the System ROMPAQ found in the BIOS section.
