which HD to use as master

Purchased a HD recently, I have a 13.5 gig Maxter 5400 rpm #91366U4 right now as master.
The one I purchased is a IBM Fireball Plus (year 2000) 7200 rpm 13.5 gig.

I really don't want to reformat etc unless it would benifit me. Is there a difference besides the rpm of these HD's and the year they were made..I know the Maxter is an older HD. Should I put the Operating system on the IBM and format the Maxter and use it as a slave or just keep the Maxter and use the IBM as the slave as I would not have to reinstall a new operating system etc.

thanks for your help...

If it were me, I'd just slave the IBM.

Easier for you and you wouldn't see that much difference the other way anyways.

IMO

Yep, slave the IBM but move your swap file to IBM, should make Windows a little quicker.

Does anyone know of a site that Sweeper can look at to explain about the Windows swap file etc. That is if he even uses windows.
