Free CD Ripper?

I need a Free CD Ripper program such as the Easy CD-DA Extractor. This software is excellent but its not free and I need a descent program thats free for me to convert my CD's to MP3 music files. Is there any program out there that works well and is free? I tried to search in Google but all of the programs founf were not free, and one called Audiograbber was free but useless (max MP3 quality was 56kbps, yuck). Does anyone have some recommendation?

dan

I'll second CDex. It uses a LAME encoder under the hood.

Send a message via ICQ to JohnE.
Exact Audio Copy is the best free audio CD ripper available, with CDex a close second.

EAC is the only audio ripper that can compensate for the Read/Write offset present in every optical drive and therefore the only one that can produce an exact copy.

Same here.... the trial is free and it does exactly what you want (meaning rip cd's) until you uninstall it.
