Well, due to circumstances beyond my control, I managed to create my first rather expensive doorstop, due to a bad BIOS flash.( I wasn't paying attention, so when I downloaded an updated BIOS for an Asus P3B-F board, (USA mirror was down), ) used the global dwnld link, and I didn't notice it linked to the wrong BIOS file.
So I'm finally going to use my new but kinda dated A7N266-VM board, for an office application. So I'm thinking, maybe I should get back on the horse w/ regard to an updated BIOS, as well as chipset/VGA/Audio/LAN drivers, etc.
The "version" section is a little confusing, because they list a BIOS version, file versions, and I guess board versions.
Now I know I'm safe with the latest BIOS version, but , since my board is version 1.03, do I need to just stick w/ just the "1.03" version updates? NVidia has a "2.45" all-in-one dwnld, but is 2.45 a board version, just for that board? Or all boards? (All for WinXP,BTW). Here's the link:

(Please select the "All" Tab)
Thanks for the help. (I'm a little gun shy after this BIOS disaster).
