Best way to cut a case?

Ive drawn a symbol onto a solid steel case. what is the best way to cut this? i have heard of using a dremel.. but also of using a jigsaw etc. Its a rather small, and not as fine symbol, but does have curves.

Dremel, or take it a machinist's shop and they can cut it for you.

I would say a Dremel with a reinforced cutting wheel is your best bet. Make sure to tape up the area you are cutting. That should help with any accidental slips of the hand.

I used a dremel on my first case window cut. Just be patient and take your time and it will look good.

CNC laser would do the trick.

since I doubt you have one of those handy...a dremel with fiber reinforced cutoff wheels.

definitely get reinforced cutoff wheels or you will spend all day putting on new wheels. the non-reinforced wheels will often only cut about 1" to 1 1/2" of sheet metal (dependant on thickness of course) before they are worn down to nothing.
the reinforced wheels will make it through at least a 12" long cut with no problem. of course, this depends on the thickness of the sheet metal, etc.
