simple question about windows updating...

I have to be the administrator (by default since no one else knows much about computers in my group) for about 10-15 individual workstations.

I want to enable windows automatic update, but before I do, I want to make sure of how it works.

Does it only download and install Critical Updates?, because those are all that I'm interested in.

can anyone help me out here?

thanks
-z

Windows Automatic Update feature is available in with Windows 2000, ME, and XP. This is a tool that will automatically check for any new Critical updates that your computer needs and install them at a designated time. No other updates will be installed, with this feature, other than the critical ones.
