Capture streaming Mp3

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the easiest way to capture streaming MP3 to my hard drive.

No, this is not all about music or MTV type videos. I actually wish to capture and store some daily lectures. You cannot download them but can listen using real audio player or media player.

What I woild like to do is capture them and maybe burn them to CD.

A lot of little recording programs have an option to record what you hear. If you have a Sound Blaster I think some of the default software that is bundled with it includes a Sound recorded that has this option.

If you can not "save the target", it is likely they do not want others downloading this info, for one reason or another. It would be my suggestion to send the provider of the lectures an email, requesting copies, or links to copies of the video you would like to have.

I have a program for you, you can try to use cooledit2000, it's a great program and you can record any sound file that comes out of your computer and just save it as an mp3, a realplayer file, a wav, etc.

There are a number of plugins for winamp that can record streaming mp3. I use a plugin called Streamripper. I'm not sure about other formats, but as long as its streaming mp3, then it works just fine.

AS others have said, if you have a sound blaster, you can just use the Creative Recorder software and change the settings to one that is called "What U Hear". It will record whatever sound is producing your sound card!
