Temp Monitor & OC

I have a couple of questions,

1. what is a good temp monitor program, or what do you guys use? I currently have asus-probe that came with my mobo but im not sure if its very accurate, and also i got a new heatsync and it came with a sensor (thermaltake xaser +11) and i installed that sensor and everything so is it taking the temp reading from that sensor or somewhere else?

2.I have a Athlon 2600+ and was wondering about OCing it. how would i go about doing this...i've gone to the bios menu and the fsb is 166 and the multiplier is 12.5 to give me the stock 2.08 or something for the 2600, when i change the fsb to 200 and lower the multiplier my comp wont boot? am i doing something wrong or what?

THX

OK forget the second question i got that taken care of but #1 is still up for grabs

I would suggest Aidia32 for a monitoring program.
What motherboard do you have?
What core are u r running?

I took my 2600+(tb B) with the same hs/f as you and could get it to 2.3 stable at about 95 idel.

For OCing try lowering your mulitplier to 11.5 and put ur FSB to 200 crank ur voltange to 1.725 that should make a stable setup. Thats what my friend and I are running right now.[

Motherboard Monitor is a good system tool to have. Keeps track of voltage, temperature, usage, etc.
