At Home Defragmenter.

Well I have a small amount of cash and I was thinking of spending it in a software program. So I got the idea of a defragmenter and I searched the web for ideas and reviews. Now I am thinking of the program called Diskeeper 8.0 since it gets great reviews and seems like a great software. Although I always use the Windows Defragmenter (XP Version) I want to try a non Microsoft defragmenter to se if its a better way to make your computer faster and more reliable. Many people recommend the defragmenter included in Windows but many recommend for advanced users another defragmenter that isnt the included in Windows. Is it a good idea to try it out? I will download the trial version to see if its worth the buy. What do you think?

I've used Diskeeper 7.0 for a little over a year and haven't had any problems.

In fact I haven't seen a reason to upgade to 8.0 yet.

I use it on two WD's (80 & 40 Gigs) in five partitions. Just set it to run when your not on the computer and forget about it.
