TV Tuner with Digital cable box?

I am getting fed up with this. Can I use a tv tuner card, even tho I have a digital cable box? I wouldnt be able to run the coax cable into the tuner tho. I however, do have on the tv, three 'output' red, white and yellow prongs. and a svideo connector (input). And also on the actual digital cable box there is a 'digital audio out' connector, -two- sets of 'out' red white and yellow prongs, one says out tv, and out vcr on the other. and also a svideo output is on it.

Could I still use a tv tuner and get video and audio, altho, I cant plug in the actual coax cable? If so, what do I need to do/buy? Thanks.

Should be no problem as long you use a card that can take a digital signal. This looks like it would work.

How does it hook up? What exactly is a digital signal? What do I need?

I use the Compro TV/Gold+ after using ATI's TV stuff---

Digital cable (coax) connect as well as FM radio/dvd w/full editing and scheduled recording from a cold non booted machine (FM TOO!) record to hdd or directly to svcd/vcd/dvd etc, comes with a fully functional remote and is less then $60---simple pci card install...
Newegg item...

Edit---> Price raised since I purchased now $63

lmfao Overclocked412, I have been trying to tell you that you CANNNN do that...instead of hooking the digital cable box to your tv, hook to the tv tuner using Coax in. It will work fine. Use ur digital cable box remote to change channels on the box. The picture will be on the computer. The card comes with software to record it. trust me. if you are still having trouble, im on aim my sn is lnxmad
