Bootup Problem

I have XP home with 2 removable HD's. I use only 1 HD and use Symantec's Ghost program to backup drive c: to the second HD.

When I boot with 1 HD on only, no problem. Everything works well. But, when I try and boot with both HD's turned on, get the following error messages:

Autocheck program not found. Skipping autocheck.

Then new screen with

STOP c0000021a (Fatal system error)
Session manager initialization process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000 0x00000)
System is being shutdown

Then the system reboots and repeats the above, over and over and over.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on???:

Jumper settings, for instance if you have both set to master it thinks you want to boot both HDDs, I have a similar setup but I turn off the power to the ghost drive when not in use.
