Printer Suggestion

Well the old epson i had for 5+ years has finally given its last printed page. So my mom is in the market of a new printer. She said she would like to have one with a scanner and a fax built in. If i plug in the fax machine, and the phone rings the fax machine will pick up correct?

Im not really a fan of the all in one printers, but that is what she wants.

the printer will be used for school work and occasional picture printing. I dont know what her price limit is i just wanted to hear some suggestions cause im clueless on the newest printers out there.

Also please make some suggestions for stand alone printers. thanks!

Jason

I never really liked the all-in-one thing either, but our office recently got the HP officejet 4110.. it was relatively inexpensive.. around $150.. and it works well..does the whole fax/copy/scan/print thing.

You can check it out here: HPshopping.com

Hope that helps,

You set up the fax to either auto answer or manually answer (you'll have to push a button for it to pick up)...at least that is the case with all of the faxes I've dealt with installing telephone lines.
Sorry I can recommend any all-in-one's for you, never did any research on them.
