Most of the webhosts will say they offer low prices monthly, but you have to either buy a full years subscription or sometimes even 2 years to get the monthly price advertised.
One of the hosts that I found that actually allows you to pay a super low monthly price and doesn't require you to sign up for more than you want is

They have a plan that offers 1000MB storage space, 40GB data transfer monthly, unlimited pop3/MySQL, Cpanel, PHP, CGI, SSI, SSL, unlimited domain hosting, and everything else you could possibly need. On top of all that, one guy runs the entire thing (I think) and his customer service has always instant and helpful for me. He is offering all that for $8.99 a month.. And you can actually pay by the "month." No setup fee either.
Now onto the other stuff. He can't promise 99.9% uptime, and my website has been down 3 or 4 times in the last 2 weeks for anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours. I haven't had any problems in the last week however. I guess this can't really be called a problem.
If anyone knows anywhere that I can get these features for the same price ($8.99 per month) or less (less is always better) and pay BY THE MONTH (and quit paying whenever I want to) with no setup fee. Please tell me now. I'd like to try out as many hosts as I can.
