I want to make my new school pc a little old skool

What i am wanting to do is take the 2 empty drive slots on my case and put a NES cart loader in one, and the contoller/power/reset buttons in the other. i could do this by putting the nes board in there, and rewiring everything to fit, but i also want this to be playable on my monitor(doesnt matter if the pc has to be on or not.) i kinda want to make it as if i have a "NES Drive" on my comp. i just thought this could be a cool thing to have, but it dont have to be my nes, it could be an xbox or ps2. any suggestions or does anyone know where to go so ican find the technical documentation i would need to do this. not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but thought i might be able to get some help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Easiest way would be to add a TV tuner/capture card. The computer would have to be on to play it, but it would work fine. The Leadtek cards are somewhat popular around here and seem to have a good price/performance ratio

The best option is to build (or buy) an nes rom dumper/loader (dont remember which one). This effectively interfaces your nes to your computer. And, this would actually give you an NES drive.

I think techtv did something on it a year or so back...
