1. You should be able to get into linux w/o all of the extra drivers... Linux will install many of the required ones for you.
2. ia32 is the one you want, you're not using FreeBSD (another OS similar to Linux) and I don't think you have a 64 bit CPU

3. How to install them, there is a README... READ IT
I'm not giving you a typical RTFM response because I'm lazy, but because you NEEEEEED to read. The new packager Nvidia uses is pretty nice so doubt if you'll need to do a lot, but still a good idea to look through it.
