New case - almost there

I was getting tired of my case so I decided to take my old mid-tower and try something new. Here is my attempt at a modded case. I guess I'm going for an industrial look. Tell me what you think.
A man and his drill - a beautiful thing!
The brushed effect I was going for
Close-up of the side
Done Brushing
Original case front
New case front
Front cut down and polished
CD Rom Hole cut
Fan holes being cut
Case is almost done

Those of you who have tried to cut a fan hole in galvanized steel with a dremel, I want you to know that I went out an got a 3" hole saw for the other 2 fan holes

I am still going to add some handles on the top and I got one more fan hole to do in the back. I also have to add the power switches and a power and hdd led on the front. Tell me what you think. I need a self-esteem boost because my wife is calling me a nerd for doing this

Tell Mrs. f1oored that it is a male thing and she wouldn't understand. Besides isn't it better than having a tranny from a 67 Chevy on the family room floor?

my girlfriend calls me a nerd and threatens leaving me if i spend more time on the computer than with her. then again, i told her that she got herself into this knowing full well that i was a nerd

now to convince her that she DOES mean more to me than my computer (that is of course until i buy a new one. just kidding baby!)

I got the switches already, I just need to decide where to put them and then cut the holes. I was thinking about putting them straight down the right hand side of the case. I should be able to do that and add the handles today.

I'm getting a new mobo on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll have the case finished by then.

The finished Product

Here it is. My new mobo and fans came so I was able to put it together. I'm pretty pleased so far. Reinstalling windows XP right now. I'll post some temps once everything is back up and running.
