Im not very computer hardware literate. But for the past few days my computer shuts down when i play a game or idle for a few min. So i took off the case and turned it on, the blue fan over my cpu was running about half as fast as it usually does and the cpu was really hot. That corresponds to the message i get when it shuts down, cpu failed. Anyway i can fix this fan, or do i need a new one?
K thx, it started about 2 days ago, i didnt know what was up so i kept seein if it would work, i tried it this morning and it did it again, so i just left it off. Guess ill get a new one tmr. Thanks alot.
